The world has been given the precious gift of an entire quarter century of Ayaya, I can think of no better reason to celebrate!

Yay!!! Happy Birthday, Ayaya!

I’m obsessed with the ‘Click you Link me’ album lately. Her voice is so gorgeous that I’m torn between wanting to listen and soak it up and trying desperately to sing along. This comment is late, but Happy Birthday to Matsuura indeed!! ❤

Why choose? I say grab a nice set of headphones, crank up the volume a bit, and do both! 😀

Seriously, though, her voice is amazingly smooth on that album. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve put it on, and just completely lost myself in it’s silky melodies.

This photo of her…
It seems like she’s like “Tehehehe… I’m preparing a wild prank” (aka to celebrate my 25th birthday, I will disappear for 25 years… )

But I’m really glad that none of her colleagues posted an entry about her birthday because she had to do all the work by herself by posting photos and messages on her own twitter!

That’s wouldn’t be a prank, that’d be a tragedy! ;D

It is a shame that no one else seemed to celebrate her birthday. Maybe she asked them not to, to further distance herself away from idols, and her former image?

I doubt it honestly. Writting “happy birthday” on blogs and twitter is even done by artists to other artists.
I guess it’s a kind way to show some consideration and some affection for someone that you know.
In addition it brings free publicity since on official Japanese blogs there is a lot of traffic.
If you have time, I wrote some researches here (showing that nothing in an official way was written from her UFA colleagues):
(Everyone can interpret it as they want and it’s not to pour salt on the wound, but this are just objective facts that I listed.)
However I think they sent her mails through their cellphone in an unofficial way.
But don’t you think this is surprising, suddenly Aya wrote and posted photos of her, especially the day of her birthday (like by coincidence) while she didn’t update her twitter for 2 months? (and after her birthday she stopped updating her twitter account again -_- )
But as Matt said “But mabe we’re reading too much into that… “
